LEGO Ideas has revealed which sets from the third LEGO Ideas 2022 review will become official sets – but that also means there are 34 projects that sadly didn't make the cut.
While it's exciting to see which two new LEGO Ideas sets are officially in the development process, it also unfortunately means that the rest of the fan-designed submissions will not become LEGO sets. It's easy to see why some of the rejected ideas didn't make it, such as Pixar’s Up House with Balloons and Pac-Man Moving Display, with the LEGO Group recently announcing both LEGO Disney 43217 ‘Up’ House? and LEGO Icons 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade. With the long lead times on LEGO products, both of those sets were far along in development by the third LEGO Ideas 2022 review, meaning the fan-made designs wouldn't have been able to be approved.
However, there are plenty of other fan-made designs that it's a shame not to see come to fruition, with everything from another musician-inspired set in Lover House to another sit-com set like Community.
Here's a run-through of all the submissions and designers that gained 10,000 supporters in the third LEGO Ideas 2022 review but didn't get approved to become official LEGO Ideas sets.
