LEGO City 60440 LEGO Delivery Truck UK price confirmed

A third-party retailer has confirmed the UK price of the upcoming LEGO City 60440 LEGO Delivery Truck, which is still awaiting a full reveal at LEGO.com.

First unveiled by a European retailer earlier this month, 60440 LEGO Delivery Truck is the last of the currently-known LEGO City summer 2024 sets to pop up through official channels. But that hasn’t stopped Smyths Toys from publishing a product listing for the 1,061-piece set in the UK and Germany, confirming its price in GBP and reiterating its price in Euros.

60440 LEGO Delivery Truck will retail for £89.99 in the UK and €99.99 in Germany when it launches on June 1, and will seemingly be a third-party exclusive to Smyths Toys in Europe. That means you’ll only be able to find it at LEGO.com, in LEGO Stores and at Smyths Toys online and in-store, reducing the chances of a significant discount on the LEGO City model.

As meta as they come, 60440 LEGO Delivery Truck offers kids and adults alike the opportunity to roleplay delivering LEGO sets to their minifigures, in a sort of wish-fulfilment scenario. Both sides of the trailer can open for the included forklift truck to slide sets in and out, while the roof of the cab can lift away to give access to any of the four included minifigures.

There’s also a hot dog stand side-build and a whole bunch of what appear to be stickered LEGO City set tiles. You’ll be able to check everything out for yourself when 60440 LEGO Delivery Truck launches on June 1 for £89.99 / €99.99. A reasonable guess for its US price might be $99.99, but you never really know where things are going to fall with LEGO City sets.
