Tune in to hear Brick Fanatics’ Matthew discuss the LEGO Group’s 2024 financial results on the BBC’s World Business Report.
The LEGO Group has today announced skyrocketing sales and record-high profits for 2024, with numbers up almost across the board – despite continued investments in long-term initiatives. It’s also started making noises about bringing its video game development in-house, responded to questions around potential US tariffs and (in a roundabout way) revealed that it closed more stores than opened them in 2024.
But how is the LEGO Group weathering the storm that’s affecting the wider toy industry? That’s the question the BBC has asked during today’s World Business Report on the BBC World Service channel, and on hand to offer answers was Brick Fanatics’ YouTube Editor Matthew. You can hear what he had to say by catching up with the latest World Business Report over on BBC Sounds.
Click here to listen to the World Business Report (Tuesday March 11, 15:32). Matthew’s segment discussing LEGO starts at around 20 minutes in.
