Brick Search is good for more than just LEGO Series 29 minifigures

With the new LEGO Series 29 minifigures coming out soon, it's a good time to get Brick Search, and the app is more than just a minifigure scanner.

The 12 new minifigures in 71052 Series 29 feature some inevitable hits, including the Mysterious Ronin and Bionicle Cosplayer. The minifigure-scanning function in the Brick Search app will be useful to make sure you're not buying 12 Chocolatiers instead of a full set. Unless that is is what you're looking for – we won't judge.

Brick Search is available for iOS devices from the App Store and for Android devices from the Google Play Store, and you can get full access to the minifigure scanner by becoming a Brick Search Plus member. There's much more to Brick Search than just the minifigure-scanning feature, though.

Here's a quick guide to some of the other useful parts of Brick Search, all of which you can use right now before 71052 Series 29 launches.

Collection and wishlist

Brick Search has a built-in collection tracker, where you can catalogue every single model and collectable minifigure you have so far. You can even use the insights panel under your account (on the top left of the screen) to get some more useful information, such as what your largest set you own is.

There's a wishlist feature too, which will provide an easy place to see which sets are currently discounted to make sure you don't miss out on them. You can add sets to either list directly from their individual pages, and access these features from the navigation bar at the bottom of the app's interface.

Brick Credits

Brick Search Plus members can save on LEGO.com purchases year-round through the Brick Credits program. It's a way for shoppers to build towards a digital LEGO gift card every time they buy a set at LEGO.com.

Every pound spent at LEGO.com via Brick Search earns Brick Credits. Members can put these credits towards LEGO.com gift cards. These gift cards are then yours to do with as you please, saving you money by building your bag through the app, as demonstrated above.

To become a Brick Search Plus member, first download Brick Search – available for Android devices from the Google Play Store and for iOS devices from the App Store – then upgrade to Brick Search Plus.

With these features and more, Brick Search is more than just a minifigure scanner, but the scanner will still function when 71052 Series 29 is released early next month. Click here if you happen to find the new minifigures early.
