Early review of LEGO Star Wars 75368 Darth Vader Mech quells reservations

While some might have been sceptical of how well LEGO Star Wars mechs would work, early reviews suggest a positive final result.

Since the official reveal of three LEGO Star Wars Mechs, including 75368 Darth Vader Mech, the main appeal of the trio of sets was initially the three minifigures. Each is impressively detailed and, in the case of Boba Fett and Darth Vader, features impressive arm printing for the relatively low price tag.

Nonetheless, an early review of 75368 Darth Vader Mech from JB Spielwaren suggests that the mechs themselves are nothing to turn your nose up at.

"To be honest, I'm really surprised how good it is," said JB Spielwaren. "I didn't expect too much [from] the line-up of sets but now I see it for myself, I'm impressed with the results – and, of course, the minifigure."

JB Spielwaren pointed out that the mech for 75368 includes a number of what appear to be unique elements and are certainly sturdy enough to withstand play, as well as a neat display idea that could take up a small section of a LEGO Star Wars collection shelf.

All three LEGO Star Wars mechs will launch on August 1, 2023 for £12.99 / $15.99 / €15.99, providing a decently low-budget way to get some of the most authentic minifigures from the franchise on the market at the moment.
