We're a quarter of the way through the year, and with a LEGO Ideas release behind us, the list of models coming to the theme has been reduced.
Four LEGO Ideas models have been released in 2026 so far over the course of four months, such as the recent
There are still several LEGO Ideas projects due to be transformed into official sets, though. Some of which we'll hopefully see over the next eight months. Here's what still to come from LEGO Ideas, as of April 7, 2026.
Sea Serpent

HallowedBrick02's Sea Serpent will be a future gift-with-purchase, based on 1992's 6057 Sea Serpent. The nostalgic design is sure to be popular when it eventually qualifies for orders on the official online store. We don't yet know when it will be available, but prior LEGO Ideas GWPs have been offered in the Summer and Autumn. It's chronologically the next LEGO Ideas set to be released, but what became
LEGO Godzilla

Godzilla from MattE720 was approved alongside what would become
The X-Files: The Truth Is Out There

WetWired's X-Files has been a long time coming for many LEGO Ideas users and even some members of the cast. Whether it will be released this year or later is unknown, but LEGO Ideas' usual release schedule suggests that there will be plenty of time for the official arrival of LEGO X-Files.
Wallace & Gromit

Another submission with no updates since a brief mention in the Boop campaign is Pidelium's Wallace & Gromit model. It depicts the duo on their motorcycle with the sidecar, using curved elements to capture the look of the claymation characters rather than presenting them as minifigures. The Tintin project didn't propose any minifigures, either, and that set has a full selection.
Build, Paint and Play!

The second of LEGO Ideas' three upcoming gifts-with-purchase is Doomslizer's Build, Paint and Play! It replicates the world of miniature building and painting in LEGO form and seems likely to be popular if it keeps the Classic Space inclusions that are proposed when it is eventually released.
Vintage Sewing Machine

BrickStability's Vintage Sewing Machine is one of the few LEGO Ideas sets coming up that is not based on a license. It appeals to an arguably niche section of the LEGO Ideas audience, but that segment will be ecstatic to see a life-sized LEGO object hit shelves. There are no official updates on when this model will be realised as an official set.
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial

Lafabrick’s E.T. figure will see the license come back to the LEGO portfolio after a single minifigure and two models in LEGO Dimensions. Expect something similar to
La Catrina

Yop1172’s La Catrina will pay homage to Mexican culture and Día de Muertos in what has been proposed to be a towering figure with notable techniques. A release for the holiday later this year makes sense, but nothing has been announced at the time of writing.
Smurf Village

The Half Blood Baron’s Smurf Village proposes several nearly life-sized minifigures of the blue characters with a village that is equally accurately proportioned. Whether it will be released later this year or saved for the next has yet to be confirmed.
Go Go Power Rangers!

TrumanBricks’ Go Go Power Rangers! will finally bring the franchise under the LEGO Group's umbrella of partnerships. The proposed mech model is already huge at 1,225 pieces, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the LEGO Ideas go bigger with the final design.
Ramen

Micdud’s Ramen project is highly detailed, but certainly not for consumption. It's proven to be a more interesting model for the LEGO Ideas team and has caused the LEGO Group to ‘create new guidelines’.
Downton Abbey: Highclere Castle

Sebastian Veselka's Downton Abbey: Highclere Castle will likely be released at some point after the similar
Urban Face Sketcher

The most recent LEGO Ideas set to be approved, and the theme's third current gift-with-purchase is ArchGian7's Urban Face Sketcher. The ideal accompaniment to a city display proposes a series of sketches made by the sketch artist of passersby. It's also unlikely to be released for some time yet.
