The results of the first 2025 LEGO Ideas review have massively expanded the theme's list of sets in production, now totalling 16 future models.
The biggest LEGO Ideas review round so far has considerably increased the list of LEGO Ideas sets currently in production, forecasting a busy couple of years for the theme.
From licenses to original concepts, here's a reminder of what's coming to LEGO Ideas in the future, now including the results of the first 2025 review.
Love Birds

ModularManiac's Love Birds is still the next model due to be realised chronologically. It's the grand prize winner of the Build from the Heart challenge and as the contest's name would suggest, this is a build ideal for a release around Valentine's Day.
Floating Sea Otter

Maximilian Lambrecht's Floating Sea Otter will be taking LEGO Ideas down the path of animal creations, which is uncommon for the theme. The proposed model is adorable and creative, depicting a sea otter half-submerged in water, floating on its back. Whether the final set will deviate from this is currently unknown.
Snoopy – Campfire

Snoopy is officially teaming up with the LEGO Group thanks to Bossofdos64's Snoopy project. While a release at some point this year would be ideal for the 75th anniversary of the character, there are only two months remaining in 2025.
Sea Serpent

HallowedBrick02's Sea Serpent is the winner of the Twist of Nostalgia challenge, remaking 1992's 6057 Sea Serpent. Thanks to the challenge, we know that this will be a gift-with-purchase, but when it will be released has yet to be confirmed.
Tintin - Space Rocket

Tkel86's Tintin rocket project will be our first LEGO set for the license whenever it is eventually released. Nothing is known about the final set at the time of writing, but we can see that the original submission includes a launch tower, the iconic red and white rocket and a tan display base.
LEGO Godzilla

MattE720's Godzilla has some serious potential as a LEGO Ideas set, hopefully resulting in a creation that pairs ideally with the various LEGO buildings currently available for a city-stomping scene. It will also go with another upcoming LEGO Ideas set that was recently announced for a classic kaiju battle.
The X-Files: The Truth Is Out There

Before that, WetWired is bringing us LEGO X-Files after winning half of the '90s IP challenge. The suggested 2,020-piece model depicts the basement office with a UFO scene above it, but we don't know what the final build will look like. For now, rest assured that the proposal has the thumbs up from a member of the original cast.
Wallace & Gromit

The LEGO Group and Aardman are teaming up for Pidelium's Wallace & Gromit project following the Boop campaign. The inventor and dog are represented as brick-built figures on their motorcycle with a sidecar in the submission, lacking any minifigures.
Build, Paint and Play!

Doomslizer's upcoming Build, Paint and Play! gift-with-purchase is based on the world of miniature painting, including a mat, paints, sprue, tools and even a complete miniature. It's a creative idea for a gift and one that has some serious potential now that it is being transformed into an official set.
Vintage Sewing Machine

BrickStability's Vintage Sewing Machine is one of the few upcoming LEGO Ideas sets not based on a license, winning a challenge for life-sized objects made out of LEGO. It will add a slice of domestic history to your home, proposing an elegantly decorated build.
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial

Lafabrick’s buildable E.T. figure has been officially approved for a LEGO Ideas set over KoalaBricks’ art-style set. Their proposal is for an E.T. figure as well as a flowerpot, and something similar to
La Catrina

Yop1172’s La Catrina will be the LEGO Group's biggest homage to Mexican culture and Día de Muertos, expanding on the likes of the BrickHeadz and small Seasonal model, the latter of which is currently available. Assuming the LEGO Ideas team opts for a similarly-sized model to what has been pitched, expect a towering skeletal figure to decorate your home in the future.
Smurf Village

The Smurfs are finally getting a LEGO set thanks to The Half Blood Baron’s Smurf Village. It will follow in the footsteps of the BrickLink Designer Program’s Mushroom House and Mushroom Village sets, but now with the star power of the license. Those who already own one or both of the BrickLink models will at least be able to bolster their Smurfs village display.
Go Go Power Rangers!

TrumanBricks’ Go Go Power Rangers! project is aiming for that '90s nostalgia, now approved for a LEGO Ideas set in the future. Something in the giant mechanical footsteps of 21311 Voltron seems likely, and the fan designer already has one LEGO Ideas set under his belt in
Ramen

Micdud’s Ramen project may look good, but this food is anything but edible, being made out of LEGO pieces. It's a masterful recreation of food, the likes of which the LEGO Group hasn't seen before, and has caused the LEGO Group to ‘create new guidelines’.
Downton Abbey: Highclere Castle

Sebastian Veselka's Downton Abbey: Highclere Castle project has moved out of the Parking Lot and will now enter production as an official LEGO Ideas set. It recreates the iconic castle with elegant architecture and proposes numerous minifigures, most of which would need new prints.

The parking lot
The LEGO Ideas parking lot, used to give projects a bit more time to be considered, has expanded to four projects following the first 2025 review results. It has seen Downton Abbey exit its space, as three more submissions come in to take its place, and they will now be considered for future releases. There are no updates on terauma's Camping Trip.
