The first rumoured details on the next LEGO modular building have surfaced, including a potential price, piece count and release date.
The LEGO Group moved to a December launch for its annual modular buildings with 10326 Natural History Museum, and Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat reports (in their latest story) that that will hold true for the next instalment in the long-running series. Numbered 10350, the next modular building is expected to make its debut on December 1, 2024, signalling a seemingly permanent move to a pre-Christmas launch window.
While the identity of this building is still a complete mystery, history tells us we’re looking at another corner building. The pattern of the series to date has been one corner building followed by two straight buildings, which means we’re due for our first corner since 2022’s 10297 Boutique Hotel. 10350 is said to come in at $229.99, matching the hotel’s price tag and suggesting we’re moving back to a 32x32 footprint (after the museum’s extended 48-wide base).

We’re potentially looking at the most involved 32x32 set in the series, though: 10350 will apparently include 3,266 elements, which makes it the third-biggest modular building by piece count behind only 10255 Assembly Square and 10326 Natural History Museum (which both stretch across bigger footprints). Maintaining 10297 Boutique Hotel’s RRP nearly three years on and with 200 more pieces is very welcome.
It means 10350 will likely carry a price tag of £199.99 in the UK and €229.99 in Europe, which is also consistent with 10312 Jazz Club, the last 32x32 modular building to hit shelves. We’ll hopefully learn more about the next LEGO modular building – including what it actually is – within the next couple of months.
What’s really interesting about the release date this year though is that December 1 is slap bang in the middle of the annual Black Friday event in 2024, so the new modular building could conceivably qualify for double points and multiple gifts-with-purchase on day one…
