LEGO Stores in the US and Canada will be hosting an upcoming make and take event later this month, with a free LEGO Crayons build up for grabs.
There are already plenty of LEGO Store make and take events scheduled for August 2025, with one more now added to that list. Shoppers in the US and Canada will be able to get a free LEGO Crayons build later this month, similar to a giveaway that turned up in European stores earlier this year.
Those who pop into their nearest LEGO retail location will be able to grab the colourful promotional model on August 24 from 12pm to 2pm, with a limited number of the set available on that date.

The LEGO Crayons will be available on a strictly first come first serve basis at participating stores, while stocks last. It’s worth noting that the make and take event will also be hosted at the LEGO Store Garden State in Paramus, NJ and the LEGO Store University Place in Orem, UT on August 23 from 12pm to 2pm.
The upcoming promotion is the latest freebie to be had at LEGO Stores this month, with a LEGO Boombox, Build Your City Challenge model and Z-Blob build also being given away in various regions in August 2025. In addition, Smyths Toys Superstores in the UK will be offering up a free LEGO Harry Potter polybag, ahead of this year's Back to Hogwarts event.
The LEGO Crayons make and take event will arrive as many US and Canadian families are preparing to head back to school for the start of the Autumn term, making it the perfect time to pick up the brick-built freebie.
