Hundreds more retiring LEGO sets have sold out online in the aftermath of Black Friday, while time rapidly slips away on the rest leaving shelves in 2023.
The full list of LEGO sets retiring in 2023 has been locked in for a few months now, which means you’ve had plenty of notice to visit the last-chance saloon before it’s too late – but with so many sets on the chopping block, it’s almost inevitable that a few will slip through the cracks. If you’ve had your eye on 10273 Haunted House, for example, your only option now is hoping a LEGO Store still has it in stock, as it’s completely sold out at LEGO.com in the UK, US and Europe.
Other recent LEGO Icons departures in the UK include 10290 Pickup Truck and 10292 The Friends Apartments, while sets from themes including Star Wars, Technic, Harry Potter and more have also shifted to ‘sold out’ status. In contrast to ‘temporarily out of stock’, ‘sold out’ generally means they’re not coming back (save for the odd exception).
Veteran LEGO Star Wars set 75292 The Razor Crest is out for the count in the UK and Europe, having been on shelves since 2020, while you’ve also missed your chance to fill 75313 AT-AT with copies of 75320 Snowtrooper Battle Pack. (That 2021 set is at least still available through third-party retailers, such as Amazon.) Stock of last summer’s 75334 Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader has also been depleted at 40% off in the LEGO Black Friday sale.
Other major casualties at LEGO.com this side of the pond include 42131 App-Controlled Cat D11 Bulldozer,
Also sold out stateside are 75288 AT-AT, 75309 Republic Gunship, 10292 The Friends Apartments and
Their sacrifice doesn’t have to be in vain, though. Let the ship sailing on those sets act as a warning for the rest of the products due to retire in 2023 – which you can find by clicking here – and snap up those you don’t want to miss while you still have chance. If you’re happy to risk hanging on until tomorrow, you’ll be able to take advantage of two new festive gifts-with-purchase in the process.
