Designer Mary Wilson has revealed the biggest challenge she faced when designing the remake of the 2014 LEGO Architecture model, and you probably won't be able to guess her answer, but it's not the rockwork, water or details on the facade.
"I think the most challenging thing for me was getting a really strong and structured base to it, which maybe isn't the most exciting answer but it really is the literal foundation for this model," Mary Wilson shared with Zusammengebaut.

"When you're building it, you need to be able to press on it and clip in everything that you're putting on the model and it all starts from the base. I spent a lot of time developing a good way to build it so it's symmetrical, it feels nice, it flows and it's definitely strong."
