The gift-with-purchase is as it says on the box – a picture frame, and it can be stood vertically or horizontally on the brick-built stand that it comes with. That stand is Christmas-themed with a tree, gingerbread house, mini reindeer and sleigh, and little snowman, whilst a plant and bell detail is likewise attached to the top corner of the frame (which automatically adjusts depending on rotation as it’s on a turntable piece).
A photo can be held in place with four centrally-aligned plates with clips, whilst the frame itself securely rests within the stand. If it isn't already clear, you do not get the mock photo that is shown in the box art – that is there just to demonstrate what a photo looks like...
As a gift-with-purchase this is a great idea that makes for a unique LEGO experience and a pretty useful finished product. It may not be the sort of GWP you go out of your way to pick up in the festive period, but it’s one that's got decent appeal to find itself unboxed, built and displaying your favourite LEGO-related photo in.
