LEGO Batman 76300 Arkham Asylum officially revealed

The next LEGO superhero modular building will be 76300 Arkham Asylum, unveiled today at San Diego Comic-Con 2025.

It’s the first time the superhero modular range has turned to DC rather than Marvel, following 76178 Daily Bugle, 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum, 76269 Avengers Tower and 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion. Situated over a 32x32-stud baseplate, 76300 Arkham Asylum includes 2,953 pieces and will retail for £269.99 in the UK, $299.99 in the US and from €299.99 in Europe when it launches on September 9.

Sixteen minifigures are included in the box, with a mix of heroes, villains and two security guards rounding out the cast list. Batman, Robin and Batwoman are joined by newcomer Batwing, while nearly every major member of the Rogues Gallery is present, including the Joker, Harley Quinn, the Riddler, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Bane, Killer Croc, the Penguin and Mr. Freeze.

The baddies are outfitted in a mix of their regular costumes and prison jumpsuits, ready for popping in the asylum’s six cells. They’re part of a full interior for this modular building, which is comprised of a ground floor, first floor and roof, and also houses a reception, doctor’s office and walkway between the cells. It’s also possible to open the doors to all the cells simultaneously thanks to an integrated function.

It’s all topped off with a van to transport inmates, a consistent inclusion in LEGO Arkham Asylum sets (save for 2017’s The LEGO Batman Movie version, which swapped it out for a police car). This is the fourth recreation of Gotham’s home for the criminally insane since 2006, and the first to be completely enclosed. It’s also a rare example of an inverted corner modular building, and will connect to both regular modular buildings and the four Marvel modulars (if you fancy sandwiching it between them).

The LEGO Group says this set is also a 'unique 24-day advent calendar', but hasn't elaborated beyond that. At this point the assumption is that it will be split across 24 bags, like 21330 Home Alone, so could theoretically be built one day at a time throughout December – if you can hold off for that long.

76300 Arkham Asylum debuts on September 9 and is available to pre-order now. It's one of several LEGO sets revealed in conjunction with San Diego Comic-Con and should be present on the show floor, so expect the first in-hand photos very soon. In the meantime, head here to stay across everything new from SDCC 2025.
