LEGO BrickLink Designer Program makes retiring Castle set a must-have

Following the reveal of the final LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 4 sets, you're probably going to be tempted by a retiring Castle model.

The five final designs, prices and other details for the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 4 sets have been announced, including SleeplessNight's Siege Encampment. The images for this set detail that the fan-inspired LEGO Castle creation is compatible with two other LEGO Castle models and that stickers are included to switch the faction represented in the builds.

Those compatible LEGO Castle models are the original BrickLink Designer Program set 910029 Mountain Fortress – which is no longer available – and 10305 Lion Knights' Castle.

The Siege Encampment undoubtedly works well with both builds and is likely to be a popular model when crowdfunding starts on February 4, 2025, at 8:00am Pacific Time. Before then though, it might be wise to pick up 10305 Lion Knights' Castle while you still can.

The LEGO Icons castle is currently scheduled to retire this year and given how perfectly it pairs with the BrickLink model, there may be a surge in demand for the set come June. Its retirement date may change before December 31, but the Siege Encampment presents another reason to collect the creation while it's still available
