LEGO Crocs are compatible with LEGO… sort of

A first hands-on look at the new LEGO Crocs reveals that they are compatible with LEGO and completely customisable… in a fashion.

LEGO content creator juanjobricks received a pair of the new wildly expensive LEGO Crocs to review, and has now demonstrated over on TikTok that while they may look a little on the impractical side, you can actually combine them with other LEGO products thanks to the 2x2 stud pattern on top. As you can probably imagine, those LEGO products are not standard bricks.

Instead, the anti-stud recesses on the underside of products like small storage heads, mugs and even the old plastic Pick a Brick cups are all compatible with the new bright red Crocs. So, if you like, you can in fact make your own pair of LEGO Crocs even more cumbersome… or, if you’re particularly deft on your feet, use them as a handy means by which to transport your coffee around. Just don’t blame us if your toes suddenly start feeling a little warm.

Check out juanjobricks’ LEGO Crocs in action in the video below. (Don’t worry if you don’t speak Spanish: the visuals do all the talking anyway.)

The first LEGO Crocs – named 5010203 Brick Clog on LEGO.com – will be available to buy from February 16 for the not-insignificant price of £149.99 / $149.99 / €149.99.

You can support the work that Brick Fanatics does by purchasing your LEGO sets (and if you really want them, the Crocs) using our affiliate links. Thank you.
