LEGO Disney rumoured to miss key characters, again

A description for a rumoured LEGO Disney set infers that the theme will skip out on key characters in movie models for the second time this year.

While we wait for official confirmation of the rumoured 43268 Lilo and Stitch Beach House, a description for the LEGO Disney set has surfaced online via the usually reliable fateful_04 via a B2B website. You can read our original report for the full details but this time, we're focusing on the stated list of minifigures.

According to the description, 43268 Lilo and Stitch Beach House will include David, Lilo, Mr. Bubbles, Nani, and Stitch, two of which have had minifigures including in LEGO Ideas 21352 Magic of Disney.

There are two glaring omissions from this list though (despite the surprising rumoured inclusion of David and Mr. Bubbles) and it's not the first time that LEGO Disney has missed key characters in 2025. Should this rumour be accurate, both Pleakley and Jumba will not be featured in the LEGO Lilo & Stitch model.

Considering that the pair move into the home at the end of the Lilo & Stitch movie, it's unusual to see them excluded, but it's not like their designs are particularly easy to depict as minifigures – unlike the rest of the reported cast.

With Jumba's stout body and Pleakley's third leg and slender body, authentically capturing the two characters with LEGO elements at minifigure scale would be challenging. It's not impossible with compromises though, as ItsABrickLife626 has depicted for their LEGO Ideas project based on the home, using a standard minifigure and the Hagrid body for the pair.

This is by no means a perfect recreation of the two characters, but you can still tell who the minifigures are intended to be and the only other clear solution is to brick-build them with stickers or printed pieces, which may not be ideal either. Notably, Maui has a similarly stout body to Jumba but is also missing from the Moana 2 models unlike those for the first film.

Despite the clear challenges, it's somewhat disappointing to hear that the rumoured 43268 Lilo and Stitch Beach House won't feature the two key members of Lilo's family. Thankfully, this is only a rumour for the reported set and there may still be hope. Take everything that is not currently confirmed with caution either way just in case.
