Initial LEGO Icons 2024 slate includes cheaper sets

The first slate of LEGO Icons sets for 2024 includes a cheaper assortment of products, with four different models coming in at under €79.99.

While the LEGO Icons range (which is comprised almost exclusively of 18+ sets) often reaches for the stars with sets like 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell and 10307 Eiffel Tower, it has its fair share of cheaper sets, too: mostly across subthemes like the Botanical Collection and occasionally its vehicles. But 2024 is seemingly going to offer its most affordable line-up yet.

According to price comparison site brickmerge.de, at least four LEGO Icons sets will launch in the first three months of next year, and none of them will retail for more than €79.99. They’ll top out at 834 pieces, too – which may be setting alarm bells ringing for LEGO modular building fans, because there’s no way the LEGO Group has squeezed next year’s set into that budget.

More likely this list just isn’t exhaustive, and 2024’s LEGO modular building simply isn’t present on brickmerge.de yet. There’s always the slimmest of chances that 10312 Jazz Club was the last entry in the long-running theme – stranger things have happened – but we definitely wouldn’t put money on it. For now, check out the four LEGO Icons sets currently listed for release in 2024 in the table below.

LEGO Icons has proven over the past couple of years that it’s full of surprises (who ever thought we’d get a Transformers set?), so it’s practically impossible to speculate around the identity of these mystery models – at least beyond one or two more additions to the Botanical Collection, which typically arrive in the first half of the year.

Remember not to treat these details as confirmed until we get actual confirmation from the LEGO Group, as much as brickmerge.de has proved reliable in the past.
