LEGO Ideas digs into a past theme with Adventurers – Return to Egypt

A fan-favourite theme from yesteryear has joined the third LEGO Ideas review of 2025 in the sandy shape of Adventurers – Return to Egypt.

Fans of LEGO Adventurers may have something to get excited about in the future, that is if a 10K LEGO Ideas submission is anything to go by. The creation of Krackenator4, Adventurers – Return to Egypt is a nostalgic nod to yesteryear and builds on previous sets released from the past theme between 1998 and 2003.

The 3,000-piece model is apparently based on the real-life Temple of Edfu combined with 5988 Pharaoh’s Forbidden Ruins, with the back of the set able to open up, allowing access to its fully detailed interior sections.

There are seven different areas waiting to be discovered in Adventurers – Return to Egypt, including a Scroll Room, Treasure Room, Pharaoh’s Chamber, Trap Floor Room, Skeleton Chamber, Crocodile Room and Staff Room.

The fan-made LEGO Ideas creation also comes with minifigures of Johnny Thunder, Pippin Reed, Dr. Kilroy, Harry Kane, Baron Von Barron and Sam Sinister, as well as a mummified Pharaoh, a skeleton figure and a statue of Anubis.

In addition, Adventurers – Return to Egypt includes a selection of lost artefacts, such as a golden staff with red ruby and a treasure chest, plus biplane and truck builds for transporting characters and archaeological wonders.

The latest 10K LEGO Ideas submission now goes into a holding pattern with over 50 other fan designs, until the judging phase begins early next year.
