LEGO Ideas rocks out to My Chemical Romance in the second 2025 review

A brick-built homage to American rock band My Chemical Romance is the latest fan-designed creation to top the LEGO Ideas charts.

There’s been a huge surge in submissions making it into the second LEGO Ideas review of 2025 over the last few days and that flood of models looks set to continue. The latest fan build to reach 10K supporters is My Chemical Romance by RamanBro, a 1,152-piece set that celebrates the American rock band of the same name.

The LEGO Ideas creation consists of five separate builds, with four portraits recreating the New Jersey group’s album covers to date and a separate stage model featuring minifigures of lead vocalist Gerard Way, lead guitarist Ray Toro, rhythm guitarist Frank Iero, bassist Mikey Way and drummer Jarrod Fletcher.

Each of the My Chemical Romance albums offers up a LEGO Art-style version of the records in black frames, based on the multi-million selling I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, The Black Parade and Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.

The four My Chemical Romance album cover portraits sit on 16x16 baseplates, while the stage model rests on a 20x20 baseplate, with the minifigures of the band featuring their own brick-built instruments and amps.

My Chemical Romance formed in 2001 and are considered one of the most influential rocks groups of the 2000s, as well as being pioneers in the emo and pop-punk genres. Following a prolonged hiatus, the band reformed in 2020, embarking on a successful reunion tour.

The latest LEGO Ideas submission joins a rapidly-growing line-up of fan designs in the second review of 2025, with the results of which sets will become physical models due later this year.
