LEGO Marvel bust’s minifigures prove frustrating for some fans

The minifigure selection included with two upcoming LEGO Marvel busts is already proving to be divisive with a few frustrated fans.

Two new LEGO Marvel sets for summer 2025 were revealed yesterday in the shape of 76326 Iron Spider-Man Bust and 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust and are available to pre-order right now. The models include brick-built head and shoulders of each hero, complete with some moveable parts, printed nameplates and their own minifigures.

It’s the latter that are already causing much discussion within the LEGO community, with some fans rooting for the characters and others lamenting their inclusion in the upcoming sets.

For starters, 76326 Iron Spider-Man Bust’s Spider-Man minifigure may at first glance appear to be a straight swap with the one included in the recent 76323 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle, but that’s not exactly the case.

“The 2018 Iron Spider-Man minifigure from 76108 [The Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown] had printed arms and legs,” explains monty_bricks on Brickset. “Dual-moulded legs are nice, but not exactly an upgrade overall.”

While that’s mostly true, 76326 Iron Spider-Man Bust’s Spider-Man minifigure does actually appear to have slightly updated arm printing, offering a little more detail than the 2018 version, even if the same printed legs from 76323 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle are something of a miss.

“I’ll just wait till someone sells the Iron Spider Minifig,” vents Xx_Dark-Shrek_xX over on Reddit. “No way I will spend money on this bust or that Endgame set.”

While 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust’s minifigure is the first such iteration of that particular version of Tony Stark’s armoured suit to date, fans still don’t seem to be happy with its inclusion in the upcoming LEGO Marvel model.

“We finally get a Mark IV fig but it’s in this set and has recycled legs,” posted knux400 on Reddit. “Huge monkey paw moment.”

That comment seems to refer to the fact that the build’s Iron Man minifigure legs have already appeared in two previous LEGO Marvel models so far, 76269 Avengers Tower and 76313 MARVEL Logo, so they’re not exclusive to 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust.

“Sucks because I really want the minifigures,” says INHGamer on X (formerly Twitter), “even though they messed up the Mark 4s leg printing.”

Although it is true that Tony Stark’s Mark 4 armour in Iron Man 3 only had a red and gold look to it, the minifigure’s reused legs in 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust do throw a little silver into the mix, making them not quite screen-accurate enough for some.

LEGO Marvel fans will be able to check out the pair of upcoming builds for themselves when 76326 Iron Spider-Man Bust launches on August 1 priced at £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99, followed by 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust on June 1 for £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99.
