76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure finally adds the team to LEGO Marvel after decades, similar to another team's recent return.
Whether you love the new minifigures or not, the Fantastic Four are finally about to make their LEGO debut with the launch of
It's an undoubtedly exciting release for LEGO Marvel, at least for the fact that the major Marvel team is finally being added to the film after decades of waiting for either a comic or movie-inspired version. With the team's teased future, it seems unlikely that this will be their only outing. Note that this article will be discussing spoilers for the post-credits scene of Thunderbolts*.
Thanks to that post-credits scene at the end of Thunderbolts* (or The New Avengers as it has been renamed), we know that the Fantastic Four are certain to return in Avengers: Doomsday, following the events of their movie this July. While absolutely nothing has been confirmed, and the following is only speculation based on past and recent releases, at least one LEGO set seems likely for the major Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.
The initial casting announcement for Doomsday has also confirmed that X-Men will be back alongside the Avengers, the New Avengers, the Fantastic Four and more heroes. The X-Men are no strangers to LEGO Marvel, though, and have been back in the theme for a while based on X-Men '97.

The difference between the two is that the Fantastic Four has fewer core characters to cover, and almost all of them are included in
The 2025 set still opens the door for comic-inspired Fantastic Four minifigures and other guest heroes who have joined the Fantastic Four over the years, including Spider-Man and She-Hulk. The way LEGO Marvel has treated the X-Men recently proves there's room for much more, though.
The fan demand for a modular LEGO Baxter Building as part of the ever-growing Marvel range has been consistent, leading up to the official debut of the team in LEGO Marvel. The custom design devised by ZeRadman demonstrates what a comic-inspired modular building can look like, and an official version would even be able to eschew the Galactus figure.
Whether or not this is a possibility following
This is only speculation, and we'll have to at least start with the new
