A new LEGO PlayStation 1 and Mario arcade machine sets are rumoured to be on the way later in 2026, bolstering the LEGO Group's gaming portfolio.
Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat has shared a new rumour for two LEGO sets said to be based on different corners of the gaming industry. First is word of another PlayStation-partnered set, believed to be named 72306 PlayStation 1. It's stated that this model would cost $159.99 / €159.99 with 1,911 pieces and be released in December.
The LEGO Group's previous console sets have covered SEGA, Atari and Nintendo systems, but PlayStation would be new to the collection. Monibricks on LEGO Ideas is currently pitching a recreation of the original PlayStation, to give an example of what a brick-built version of this 1994 console could look like.

The source also states that 72051 Mario Arcade Machine is planned for launch in August with 1,367 pieces for $169.99 / €169.99. The LEGO Group's arcade game recreations have been much more limited than their console models, only including 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade so far. That model features a working version of the arcade game and a miniature diorama inside, but uses 2,651 pieces to do so.
These LEGO rumours are to be taken with caution until announced otherwise, as details may end up being inaccurate. We've added these reported sets to our page of LEGO 2026 models. While we wait to find out more, you can read up on the upcoming Super Mario minifigures.
