Be right back, we need to call Gene about our LEGO Speed Champions 77250 MoneyGram Haas F1 Team VF-24 review.
We hope Gene is happy with how 77250 MoneyGram Haas F1 Team VF-24 has turned out, or we'll be stuck in a trailer all day. The 242-piece car is one of the smallest in terms of piece count – although of course they all measure the same size thanks to consistent wheel arches.
With that in mind, let's dive into the details of 77250 MoneyGram Haas F1 Team VF-24.
Release: March 1, 2025 Price: £22.99 / $26.99 / €26.99 Pieces: 242 Minifigures: 1 LEGO:
We could probably do with just one face print

Before we get onto the car, there's a minifigure-shaped issue to address. Not every LEGO Speed Champions Formula 1 car has two face print options and 77250 MoneyGram Haas F1 Team VF-24 probably should have been in that camp. The combination of a second face, combined with that hair, means that you can always see half of the face from behind.
Of course, minifigures are not what people are typically buying LEGO Speed Champions sets for and if you keep his helmet on, you won't notice it. However, it does feel like an overlooked problem that will become instantly apparent if you do prefer to display or use your minifigure in pit crew mode.
This is how you split a sticker

Moving onto the car itself, an instantly impressive feature is how 77250 MoneyGram Haas F1 Team VF-24 handles needing to split a sponsor sticker across two elements. We've already lamented 77248 BWT Alpine F1 Team A524's approach but in this case, it does work.
The sticker has been placed on a more forgiving black backdrop and it doesn't split a single letter cleanly down the middle. The continuing white line encourages the eye to follow that line, resulting in a more cohesive look.
It's not always possible to order new pieces so this is a clever way of navigating around a tricky issue in a way that 77248 BWT Alpine F1 Team A524 simply doesn't, as one example.
Slick, classy – and possibly a collectible?

That sleek look is carried through to the rest of the car. For many of these LEGO Speed Champions Formula 1 cars, their final look is incredibly dependent on how good the livery looks, but for 77250 MoneyGram Haas F1 Team VF-24, the LEGO Speed Champions team hit the jackpot. A lot of what's interesting about this build comes down to the contrasts: the white halo paired with black bodywork and wing mirrors; the white and red rims bringing out the same colours in the rear and front wings.
There's some immaculate printing on the front wing to boot, capturing the finer details of the Haas badge and branding. Haas in real life may be lurking at the back of the pack but, between clever sticker placement and unparalleled prints, 77250 MoneyGram Haas F1 Team VF-24 is fighting for podiums in our ranking of all 10 LEGO Speed Champions Formula 1 cars.
After all, if the worst feature of a LEGO Speed Champions car is its minifigure, it's done pretty well.
Honest opinion: 77250 MoneyGram Haas F1 Team VF-24 neatly circumvents problems other cars in the wave don't, resulting in an impressive final model.
