In a recent roundtable interview with fan media, Jackson Hughes, one of the LEGO Star Wars design team behind

“In the back of the cockpit, is the door that you know canonically they would enter through,” Jackson explained. “Behind it, we’ve hidden a storage area for Jango’s blasters and there’s also a bacta tank.”
“It’s an homage to one of my favourite video games, a great one – Star Wars: Bounty Hunter,” said Jackson. “The reason I put the bacta tank in the storage section was because I was thinking specifically of collecting them in the video game.”

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter was a third-person action-adventure title released by LucasArts in 2002 for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube. In the game, players took on the role of Jango Fett himself, discovering much about the elusive character’s backstory along the way.
In addition to blasters, a flamethrower and jetpack-mounted missiles, Jango could also collect and use bacta tanks dropped by defeated enemies to heal himself if injured. Although the game wasn’t a massive success, it’s legacy clearly had a lasting impact on at least one member of the LEGO Star Wars design team.
