LEGO Star Wars magazine Issue 114 includes a well-timed minifigure

The latest issue of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine is on shelves now, and comes with a well-timed free minifigure attached to the front cover.

Issue 114 follows up last month’s plain Phase II Clone Trooper minifigure with a TIE Pilot, apparently plucked from 2023’s 75347 TIE Bomber. That means it lacks the printed arms of the pilot included exclusively in 75382 TIE Interceptor, but then it would have been surprising to see an Ultimate Collector Series minifigure show up in a magazine freebie (and especially so soon after that set arrived in stores).

It’s well-timed though for hitting newsagents and supermarkets in the UK only a week after 40755 Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder debuted in LEGO Stores. That army-building exclusive set puts a basic Stormtrooper on piloting duties for its dropship, but if you want a more appropriate character at the controls you’d do well to cop Issue 114 of the LEGO Star Wars magazine.

As per other issues with just the one free gift, Issue 114 retails for £4.99 in stores. The cheapest new version on BrickLink in the UK sits at £3.87 at the time of writing, so an extra £1 or so to avoid shipping fees seems like a pretty good deal. It’s also way more convenient if you’re already out doing your weekly shop anyway.

You should start to find Issue 114 of the LEGO Star Wars magazine in stores around the UK this week, though depending on distribution a few copies of Issue 113 (and its Phase II Clone Trooper from 75372 Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack) might still be floating around. 40755 Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder is available from LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores now.
