LEGO Star Wars UCS The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter revealed

The LEGO Group has officially revealed this year’s flagship LEGO Star Wars May the 4th set, 75442 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter.

The latest LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set launches May 1 for LEGO Insiders and signals the start of this year’s May the 4th celebrations, with at least two different gifts-with-purchase up for grabs. Ringing in at 1,809 pieces, 75442 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter will retail for £229.99 in the UK, $249.99 in the US and €249.99 in Europe.

A heftier take on the Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian Season 3 ship than 2022’s play-scale version 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter, this UCS set includes a sprawling selection of drum-lacquered silver pieces in place of the chromed elements seen in 10026 Special Edition Naboo Starfighter. It also comes with minifigures of Din Djarin and Grogu, neither of whom appear exclusive at first glance.

The finished model stands 19cm tall, 44cm long and 39cm wide, and can be displayed in two different orientations on its stand: facing forward or side-on. It’s the second UCS set based on The Mandalorian following 2022’s 75331 The Razor Crest, which retired at the end of last year.

75442 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter will qualify for two gifts-with-purchase on launch day. First up is 5010320 The Mandalorian and Grogu Display, a lenticular film strip of the two characters sitting in the N-1’s cockpit, which will be available exclusively with the N-1 from May 1 to 6.

Also on the cards for this year’s May the 4th event is 40917 The Darksaber, a buildable hilt that’s free with all LEGO Star Wars purchases above £145 / $160 / €160 from May 1 to 6. 75442 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter comes in above that threshold, so will automatically qualify for the Darksaber.

75442 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter launches at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores on May 1 for LEGO Insiders and May 4 for everyone else. Find out more about this year's May the 4th event here.
