LEGO Super Mario 30702 Toad polybag rumoured release date

The first LEGO Super Mario promotional polybag of 2025 now has a potential release date, if the latest rumour proves to be accurate.

The LEGO Super Mario theme kicked off 2025 with a bang, thanks to the arrival of six sets based around the Mario Kart video game series. In addition, multiple rumoured releases are said to be launching later this year, although there’s yet to be any official confirmation of most of the models in the table below.

However, we do know that the first LEGO Super Mario promotional polybag of 2025 is on its way, in the shape of 30702 Toad (Pit Crew). Thanks to the usually reliable Instagram user exabrickslegogo we can now put a potential release date next to the 39-piece set too, if the latest rumour proves to be true.

It’s reported that 30702 Toad (Pit Crew) will be launching on March 1 for $5, which should make it a stop-gap release ahead of a potential LEGO Super Mario summer wave. The set comes with a single tyre, a small workbench and a Toad figure (the same one also appears in 72032 Standard Kart), all of which can be combined with the existing Mario Kart models.

As this stage there’s no indication of exactly where 30702 Toad (Pit Crew) will be available from on March 1, although similar promotional polybag sets often appear as GWPs or in-store giveaways.

Note that the LEGO Group has yet to confirm the potential release date for the next LEGO Super Mario 2025 release, but we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we have more details.
