The last time the LEGO Group offered an exclusive gift-with-purchase, it sold out within hours worldwide, and it leaves the question of why this second exclusive Middle-earth model has managed to stick around until the wide release.
The LEGO Group may have created more stock of the new 40761 The Lord of the Rings: Sméagol & Déagol gift-with-purchase than 40693 The Lord of the Rings: Fell Beast. Alternatively, there might be less demand for 10354 The Lord of the Rings: The Shire than for 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr.
Whatever the reason, there's still time to pick up 10354 The Lord of the Rings: The Shire with a free 40761 The Lord of the Rings: Sméagol & Déagol in the US and UK, but how much longer the pair will be available together is unknown.
