'Limited quantities' of LEGO Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon in 2017

The LEGO Group has e-mailed VIP shop members, to inform them that 'very limited quantities' of the set will be available through the rest of 2017. LEGO Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon was pre-released on September 14, and sold out worldwide within a day. The LEGO Group has to acknowledge that no more stock will be available for the official release date of October 1. Now, an e-mail to VIPs confirms that fans have little chance of getting the set before the year is out – if the company is willing to minimise expectations by stating that only 'very limited quantities' will be available, then they certainly will be limited.

Here is the text from the e-mail:

As you may know, the new LEGO® Star Wars™ Millennium Falcon (75192), our largest LEGO set ever, went on sale exclusively to VIP Members on September 14. We are very excited that we received such a positive response from fans like yourself, it exceeded all of our expectations! Unfortunately, that also means the first batch has already sold out.

The good news is we are making more as quickly as possible and expect to have very limited quantities available for the remainder of 2017.

The e-mail allows fans to sign up for stock alerts, letting them know when the set is available to order again at shop.LEGO.com. There is a caveat, however:
