More LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 secrets revealed

The team behind LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 appeared on stage at San Diego Comic Con to share a look at the upcoming LEGO video game. The Brick Fan reports that Arthur Parsons, Head of Design at TT Games, presented a new trailer that will be released online shortly. He also shared new snippets of information about LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 and revealed a selection of new characters. The new characters announced were Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming, Doctor Octopus, Cosmo, Greenskyn Smashtroll, Throg, Forbush Man, Ravonna Renslayer and Gwenpool. As far as character selection goes, X-Men fans will be disappointed, but Stan Lee groupies should be pleased.

There are over 200 playable characters that will be in this game and one of them will be the iconic Stan Lee. He returns again in the sequel but will be in peril again. If you are able to rescue him, you will be rewarded handsomely. Although there are over 200+ characters, none of them involve Fox franchises, mainly X-Men.

It was also confirmed that different versions of the same character can team-up, for example the recently revealed Spider-Man Homecoming character can be played alongside regular Spider-Man.

Vehicles will be making a return as there were a few that were revealed at the panel. We were able to see the Black Panther Jet, Crossbones’ Truck, and a Mini Ravager Jet.

LEGO artist Dan Veesenmeyer recreated the classic Marvel Krang Dynasty cover, with a print of it given out to attendees at the panel. Classic Marvel covers will be one of the game’s collectibles. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is available for pre-order from Amazon and is due for release on November 10, 2017.
