Another returning character found in first LEGO Friends 2023 wave

It’s not just Mia coming back for the relaunch of LEGO Friends in 2023 as a second character has been found in the first wave of sets. 

It has been confirmed that all five of the original LEGO Friends characters will feature in the theme’s relaunch but only Mia has a physical mini-doll in the six sets revealed so far. However, a reference to a second character is featured in the largest model. 

On the wall in the living room in 41730 Autumn’s House, a picture of Mia and Stephanie in graduation outfits can be found. In the 2023 relaunch, Mia and the rest of her friends are now adults, and this reference is likely to be an appreciated addition for long-time fans of the theme. 

Otherwise, stickers in 41730 Autumn’s House reference Mia’s love of animals, even including her time with more exotic animals such as in 41717 Mia’s Wildlife Rescue and 41059 Jungle Tree Sanctuary 

Unfortunately, Mia is still the only physically returning mini-doll in LEGO Friends for 2022 so far, but other characters could appear in future waves. At this time, only six LEGO Friends sets have been confirmed for 2022 but many more have been rumoured and listed.
