First rumoured details on four new LEGO Ideas sets for 2024

Rumoured details for this year’s LEGO Ideas slate are beginning to emerge online, pointing to at least four more crowdsourced sets launching in the first half of 2024.

The newest LEGO Ideas set has literally only just arrived on shelves in 21345 Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera, but already reports have surfaced of what to expect next from the theme that revolves entirely around concepts designed by fans. A total of 10 different LEGO Ideas sets are currently in production, and of those four are slated to arrive by June.

21346 Family Tree

Price: $99.99 Pieces: 1,040 Release date: February 1, 2024

The second LEGO Ideas 2024 set is said to be 21346 Family Tree, which is based on a design by Ivan Guerrero (whose name you’ll probably recognise from 21324 123 Sesame Street and 40533 Cosmic Cardboard Adventures). Initially said to be launching in January, the contest-winning model is now believed to be on the way in February, coming in at $99.99 in the US.

21347 Red London Telephone Box

Price: $114.99 Pieces: 1,460 Release date: February 1, 2024

Also reported to be arriving in February is 21347 Red London Telephone Box, which was one of two LEGO Ideas sets approved as part of the second LEGO Ideas 2022 review. The finished model – based on a design by John Cramp – is thought to stand 31cm tall, and will apparently allow builders to choose between a dial phone or a ‘90s phone. It’s also said to include a paved street with lamppost, flowerpot and street sign, along with a light brick in the roof of the phone box.

21348 Dungeons & Dragons

Price: $359.99 Pieces: 3,745 Release date: April 2024

If the three LEGO Ideas sets for 2024 so far (including 21345 Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera) have felt a little softer on the wallet, prepare yourself for 21348 Dungeons & Dragons. Bringing to life another contest winner from designer Lucas Bolt, the 50th-anniversary model is said to weigh in at a staggering $359.99, and will reportedly debut on shelves around April.

21349 Cat

Price: $99.99 Pieces: 1,710 Release date: June 2024

Another more affordable LEGO Ideas release, 21349 Cat is rumoured to be jumping the queue to arrive in June. The buildable feline was given the green light three months after Simon Scott’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, but the timeline of these rumours suggests the cat will be coming first – potentially pointing to a Halloween or Christmas release window for Scott’s design.
