Scannable codes for LEGO CMF Series 27 added to Brick Search

Scannable codes for LEGO CMF Series 27 added to Brick Search

A first batch of scannable codes for LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 27 are now on Brick Search, which means blind boxes can be scanned as soon as they hit the shelves.

These codes have come from one of two review copies received by Brick Fanatics from the LEGO Group. Previous CMF series sold in-store or online have had the same codes as the early review copies, but we’ll continue looking for any different codes that appear in the run-up to the official release and in the days and weeks after, too.

Brick Search Plus members have unlimited use of the best-ever minifigure scanner to find the minifigures they want – or avoid the ones they don’t want – with the official release of Series 27 in most parts of the world coming on January 1, 2025.

The Brick Search minifigure scanner was recently upgraded as part of Brick Search Plus and can now be used with or without an internet connection. Scan results also appear instantly in the same screen and multiple boxes – up to seven – can be scanned at the same time.

Brick Search Plus annual members also get a £30 voucher for The Minifigure Store (UK and Europe only; terms and conditions apply) and can join the Brick Search Plus Discord server, where news on future updates to the app will be first shared and suggestions from members taken. Annual members can also sign up to the Brick Search Plus newsletter to get a regular look behind-the-scenes at Brick Search HQ.

An annual Brick Search Plus membership is £19.99 / $29.99, which represents a 16% saving on joining monthly. Brick Search is available for Android devices and iOS devices. To become a Brick Search Plus member, open the My Account section of the app (shown below) and sign up.

Scannable codes on cardboard minifigure packaging were first seen in January 2024, on the Series 25 range. The codes allowed for Brick Search’s existing barcode scanner to be adapted to read the new data matrix codes and tell minifigure hunters which minifigure was inside the box, removing the guesswork and need for impractical measures such as weighing boxes or inserting a camera.
