The hunt is on for the UK and Ireland’s most talented Lego builders, as some of the country’s most skilled brick fanatics are about to start their battle to be crowned LEGO MASTERS.
In this episode 48 pairs are whittled down to just eight final teams over a series of challenges. Then, for their first build, the eight teams must create a spectacular brick banquet, including an impressive chair that not only looks the part, but also holds presenter Melvin Odoom’s weight. Alongside their chair they must make at least one supersized masterpiece. The results are a mouth-watering (if not a little chewy) Chinese banquet with crispy aromatic duck and prawn toast and even a hog roast. Judging the models is a man who knows a thing or two about bricks, The Lego Group’s Matthew Ashton. Joining him this week is structural engineer Roma Agrawal who will be looking at how the seats sit up under scrutiny. Two teams must go home, so who will tower above their opponents and who will come tumbling down under the pressure?
