Fancy fashion
As G.B. R. Home on Facebook has already devised, the monocle-wearing face and top hat in the Steampunk Inventor are great for a minifigure in the fanciest fashion possible.
You won't need to worry about the printed goggles either as the brown top hat can simply be reversed to hide them without blocking any of the face print. The Steampunk Inventor's legs might be useful too, though the exposed tools might get in the way of any fancy outfit you want to pursue. Instead, mixing the hat and head with another outfit and grouping them with other well-suited minifigures can make for a fancy group touring your LEGO city.
Infant Aarakocra wings
After the debut of the wings and Aarakocra head in
These will be ideal for depicting younger Aarakocra minifigures (or minifigures that need a smaller pair of wings anyway). and should pair perfectly with the head to make even more LEGO Dungeons & Dragons minifigures.
Heroes and knights
The Steampunk Inventor, Pirate Quartermaster and Wolfpack Beastmaster will all be useful for new LEGO Dungeons & Dragons, Castle and other fantasy minifigures. Their torsos, faces, legs and accessories are equally versatile and match the tone and aesthetics of LEGO Castle and other fantasy themes ideally.
The Steampunk Inventor will be particularly great for recreating the Artificer class in Dungeons & Dragons, which is one of the few classes yet to be represented in the limited LEGO Dungeons & Dragons collection. The Pirate Quartermaster's legs should mix nicely with the Gith Warlock too given their similar colour schemes and designs.
Ripped denim returns
The Longboarder in 71048 Series 27 is about to be more enticing than you might have first thought since they have ripped jeans for their legs. This isn't a new concept in the LEGO portfolio but such a design has only appeared previously in LEGO Hidden Side, which has been retired for more than a few years, and a 2024 Build-a-Minifigure parts assortment.
These legs are a simple but efficient way of representing modern fashion in your LEGO display, whether you want to upgrade modular building minifigures or update your LEGO City sets.
Aviary expansion
Rounding out the list is the Pirate Quartermaster's Cockatoo, which will be right at home outside of
The Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney is the chosen home of quite a few cockatoos and those looking for a second home for the new LEGO bird piece aside from a pirate set will find the perfect excuse to place them outside in
