The LEGO One Piece Season 2 sets are skipping a few key moments from the new episodes, as well as several important characters.
All eight sets based on the second season of LEGO One Piece have been revealed, depicting scenes and characters from across the new season. They're not completely comprehensive, though, as they notably miss a few major moments. From Whisky Peak to the brief return to Loguetown, these six upcoming sets don't cover some important scenes.
Here's everything major missing from the LEGO One Piece Season 2 wave launching on August 1, 2026.
All of Whisky Peak
The biggest omission from the six upcoming sets is that practically nothing from Whisky Peak is covered. The only characters featured in this important arc of the season are Vivi and the Straw Hats. It's not like the scenes from this arc are without action-packed moments to depict, including Zoro's battle against 100 Baroque Works agents in the Whisky Peak saloon.
The LEGO Group's preference to avoid alcohol may have been an obstacle in depicting the saloon, though the LEGO model could always have sold juice instead. Omitting this part of the season also means that at least two minifigures have been avoided.
Both Mr. 9 and Igaram are nowhere to be seen in the upcoming LEGO One Piece sets based on the second season. They both would have required at least one new or returning piece each, including the crown-topped hair for Mr. 9. Such an element may have been desirable for LEGO Castle, but it was not meant to be.
Laboon
Laboon forms a crucial part of the early episodes of Season 2, trapping most of the Straw Hat crew briefly as Luffy learns about the tragic tale of this whale's life. Without delving into too many spoilers, this arc takes place inside and outside of Laboon. Inside, the crew has to find a way out and deal with Vivi and Mr. 9, presenting another chance to include the latter as a minifigure.
Outside, Luffy must learn about Laboon from Crocus, eventually reconciling with the whale. A brick-built Laboon big enough for a small interior scene and a Crocus minifigure on an island would have made for an interesting LEGO One Piece set, but other larger characters were on the cards for the theme instead.
Buggy's return in Loguetown
Most surprising of all the missed scenes from the second season of One Piece is the brief return to Loguetown very early in the season. This brings back Buggy and Alvida, the former of which has a minifigure ready for a second appearance in
Anyone hoping to pick up Buggy from another set is unfortunately fresh out of luck since the LEGO One Piece design team decided not to represent Loguetown. Since it doesn't appear for long in the season, it makes sense to prioritise other moments for sets.
Ultimately, your only chance at getting a LEGO Buggy minifigure remains
Chopper's other forms and Dalton
While Chopper is treated to a new kind of LEGO baby figure and a standalone set in the form of
The humanoid Heavy Point would have made sense to appear as a standard minifigure in

Speaking of the Drum Island arc, the lack of a Dalton minifigure somewhere in the wave is odd. A spot in
