Where are the LEGO Star Wars Outlaws sets?

The recent showcase for Star Wars: Outlaws raises questions about tie-in LEGO sets, but there's a complicated history with Star Wars games.

Xbox's summer 2024 showcase and Ubisoft Forward 2024 showcased more of Star Wars: Outlaws last week and it's looking to be an impressive open-world title in a galaxy far, far away. Those hoping for a LEGO Nix and Kay Vess might be best to lower their expectations though, as the history of Star Wars Games and LEGO sets that tie into them is interesting, to say the least.

Brick Fanatics' own Matthew goes into the details in our latest YouTube video.

The most recent Star Wars game to receive a tie-in LEGO set was Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in the form of the retired 75335 BD-1 as well as a special 25th-anniversary Cal Kestis minifigure in the £149.99 / $159.99 / €169.99 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer. That's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to LEGO sets based on Star Wars games though, and you can find out more in our new video.

It's not hard to understand the LEGO Group's potential reasoning for avoiding LEGO Star Wars video game sets or tie-ins unless it's certain that the source is a success, widely appealing and a good fit for a LEGO model.

For now, it might be wise to expect little to nothing for LEGO Star Wars: Outlaws, unless they're saving Nix and Kay for the next major LEGO Star Wars anniversary. You can find out more about the history of LEGO Star Wars and Star Wars games in our new video.
