Which LEGO Editions football sets will retire first?

Unlike most other new themes, LEGO Editions has a wider retirement schedule to take note of, including one set retiring later this year.

Following their reveal earlier this week, the days are already numbered for some of the LEGO Editions sets as their retirement dates have been logged. Football fans should be keeping their eyes on one specific LEGO Editions set before its retirement at the end of this year, as well as one already leaving shelves in 2027. Otherwise, most of the theme's sets will be on shelves for a while.

LEGO Editions sets retiring in 2026

At the time of writing, 43033 2026 U.S. Soccer National Team Jersey and its exclusive minifigure prints will only be on shelves for eight full months. The 167-piece model features two customisable minifigures depicting the 2026 U.S. Soccer National Team uniform, as well as a build of the jersey.

You can hang the model on a wall or use the included display stand. Soccer fans should aim to pick up the £19.99 / $24.99 / €24.99 set before the end of the year, or sooner, depending on how popular it is starting next month.

LEGO Editions sets retiring in 2027

The only LEGO Editions set scheduled to retire in 2027 is 43032 FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Emblem. It recreates the logo of the 2026 World Cup alongside a depiction of the trophy, also featured in 43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy. That larger set is currently scheduled to remain on shelves a year longer than this build.

Similar to 43033 2026 U.S. Soccer National Team Jersey, this display can be hung on a wall or stood up using the included stand. It is currently scheduled to retire at the end of July 2027.

LEGO Editions sets retiring in 2028

Every other LEGO Editions football set is currently scheduled to retire at the end of December 2028. That includes the two footballer buildable figures, the four dioramas, the Messi celebration wall art, the unfolding football and the massive trophy model.

Football enthusiasts will most likely want to spread these purchases out over the next few years, rather than waiting to get all of the more expensive models in 2028.
