A LEGO Dune set is rumoured for later this year and its potential minifigures could offer a few familiar faces from the film.
10327 Ornithopter is reported to include four or five minifigures for €164.99. With the upcoming release of Dune: Part Two on November 3, 2023, these could be based on characters from the most recent iteration of the franchise.
Though it’s noted as just speculation, the source names Paul Atreides, Lady Jessica, Chani, Duke Leto Atreides and the villain Baron Wladimir Harkonnen. For those who haven’t watched the film, these are core members of the cast in the first movie, and some are due to appear in the sequel.
Character posters for the first film offer an idea of what we could potentially expect for minifigures based on these characters. Paul Atreides could even use the existing hairpiece introduced in the BTS set with the breathing apparatus as an alternate face print too.
The rumoured LEGO Dune set is far from confirmed and is only a rumour at the time of writing. As Promobricks notes, this report should be taken with caution until announced otherwise.
